Welcome to Meditation Station, the official website of the Meditation Society of America. Whether you're a beginner, expert, or somewhere in between, you will find valuable information on meditation techniques and concepts from all traditions throughout the world.

For those of you who are just starting out, be sure to check out our "Beginners" section, which will lead you through the basics of understanding what meditation is and how it can help you lower stress, gain mental clarity, and generally improve your life.

The main part of the site, of course, is the "Meditations" section, where you can read detailed, step-by-step explanations of meditation techniques. From our list of 108 meditation techniques, we post new meditations frequently. These can be found in the Featured Technique section. In addition, we keep all of the previously-featured techniques in the Archive. We also offer meditation concepts, words of wisdom, a helpful message board and much more.

You can use either the menu bar on the left or the links at the bottom of each page to navigate around the site. We hope that you will be able to attain true peace of mind through the techniques presented at Meditation Station and enhance your knowledge of meditation.

What's new at Meditation Station?

A new Featured Technique, OM , has been posted. This classical mantra is perhaps the most widely practiced meditation technique of all time. At any given moment millions of people are doing it. This clearly discussed “How-to” will let you join in this ancient stress relieving and spiritually elevating vibration with a real understanding of what OM is all about. Enjoy!
